Quality Control Engineer Additive
KMWE's Additive & Re-use department is looking for a Quality Control Engineer. The young team specialises in Additive Manufacturing and is based at the Brainport Industries Campus in Eindhoven. You will work in a small team on the development and production of AM components.
Job description
As a Quality Control Engineer, you look after quality aspects and handle quality-related questions within the Additive & Re-use team. You analyse and resolve disruptions in production. In addition, you carry out product inspections and offer support in the qualification of (new) products.
Tasks and responsibilities
- You carry out inspections on products where this is prescribed;
- You will draw up inspection instructions;
- You analyse and assess deviations in products;
- You communicate internally and/or with suppliers about deviations in products, register them and ensure follow-up;
- You provide support in quality-related tasks (FAI, FMEA, etc.) within New Product Introductions (NPI);
- You carry out specific research, analyses and assessments in response to Q problems;
- You take care of the implementation of a product's Control Plan, including checking, recording and following up;
- You provide input on the performance of suppliers and support in improving performance;
- You support the management of the applicable performance indicators (KPIs & PIs) of the primary process part within the team;
- You support and/or initiate actions aimed at improving performance.
Job requirements
- You have a technical education at MBO+/HBO level;
- You have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a fine mechanical/mechatronic work environment;
- You have experience in applying quality improvement methodologies such as Control Plan, FMEA and 8D;
- Experience and/or training in statistical techniques and data analysis is a plus;
- You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing.
