Job description 

As a Production Quality Engineer you are a member of the Quality Control team and you report to the Production Leader Quality Control, and you are also a member of the Material Review Board. In this role you manage quality aspects of machined products that are produced in our own factory, as well as externally supplied products. You guarantee all quality-related customer requirements within the work preparation of Quality Control. You also support production in the qualification of new products and initiate improvement projects. You bear a great responsibility because you are authorized to stop deliveries and production if quality proves to be insufficient.


Key duties and responsibilities

  • You advise and support colleagues on optimal production processes, based on your knowledge and skills;
  • You have an active role in continuous improvement;
  • You promote the established quality vision; 
  • You analyze deviating products and initiate necessary actions;
  • You perform risk analyzes op processes (PFMEA) and you test the feasibility of resulting improvement proposals during implementation; 
  • You initiate customer-related quality and inspection plans and you provide guidance during implementation; 
  • You manage the Quality KPIs of the Precision Machining department;
  • You lead improvement teams initiated by the Quality department. 


Job requirements 

You have a strong hands-on mentality, you communicate with ease at different levels and you feel at home in an international environment. 

  • You have completed education on HBO level in either mechanical engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering or similar; 
  • You have experience working in a precision mechanical production environment;
  • You have experience with statistics and data analysis;
  • You have a customer-oriented attitude, analytical skills and good communication skills; 
  • You have extensive experience with quality systems;
  • You have sound language skills in both written and spoken English and Dutch.
