Logistics Engineer NPI
Job description
As Logistics Engineer NPI, you will be responsible for the integral chain set-up for new products within the logistics area. To this end, you will represent Logistics within the multidisciplinary QLTC NPI teams. Together with the project leader and QLTC project members, you will draw up the integral NPI plan and ensure the project execution in which the logistics project deliverables are delivered on time, with the right quality and within the project costs and resources as budgeted.
Several years of experience in supply chain design, improvement and/or planning is required to perform this task well. As a person, you must like the challenge of overseeing the entire supply chain – from customer business to delivery, assembly, manufacturing, warehousing and suppliers. On the basis of this knowledge, you ensure a supply chain that meets customer requirements and that has the shortest possible integral lead time, while keeping stocks and cash requirements low and the chain flexibility high. You will also ensure the correct logistical contracting within the interface platform for customers and suppliers.
The best integral project plan is created when the QLTC project team members can empathise with the responsibilities and deliverables of all project team members.
Thus, it would be an advantage for you to have knowledge and experience within a technical production environment. Therefore, working together and collectively achieving the best results is in your DNA.
