Logistics Engineer NPI

Logistics Engineer NPI

Job description

As Logistics Engineer NPI, you will be responsible for the integral chain set-up for new products within the logistics area. To this end, you will represent Logistics within the multidisciplinary QLTC NPI teams. Together with the project leader and QLTC project members, you will draw up the integral NPI plan and ensure the project execution in which the logistics project deliverables are delivered on time, with the right quality and within the project costs and resources as budgeted.

Several years of experience in supply chain design, improvement and/or planning is required to perform this task well. As a person, you must like the challenge of overseeing the entire supply chain – from customer business to delivery, assembly, manufacturing, warehousing and suppliers. On the basis of this knowledge, you ensure a supply chain that meets customer requirements and that has the shortest possible integral lead time, while keeping stocks and cash requirements low and the chain flexibility high. You will also ensure the correct logistical contracting within the interface platform for customers and suppliers.

The best integral project plan is created when the QLTC project team members can empathise with the responsibilities and deliverables of all project team members.
Thus, it would be an advantage for you to have knowledge and experience within a technical production environment. Therefore, working together and collectively achieving the best results is in your DNA.

Duties and responsibilities

  • You will negotiate the critical path and information required for the draft documentation with the client;
  • You will monitor and direct the realisation plan together with the internal departments and report on it both internally as well as to the customer;
  • You will coordinate the material flow of critical parts;
  • You will review engineering changes in terms of manufacturability, delivery time and costs;
  • You will implement engineering changes in the ongoing production and the supply chain.

Job requirements

  • You have completed a relevant bachelor and/or master training course in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or similar;
  • You have several years of experience in planning/logistics within a production environment;
  • You have good organisational and communication skills;
  • You are capable of taking the lead in a complex process with multiple players;
  • You are independent, hands-on, assertive and result-oriented;
  • You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages.

What we offer

  • A warm welcome from 400+ coworkers.
  • An informal work environment.
  • 25 vacation days + 13 ADV days.
  • A bonus arrangement.
  • Travel reimbursement and/or biking reimbursement.

  • Drinks, barbecues, active (family)days, pub quizzes and many more festive activities.
  • Plenty of opportunities regarding personal and professional development.
  • A High Tech environment.
  • And never a dull day anymore!
