KMWE in Eindhoven is looking for a new member for our IT team. At KMWE together with over 400 colleagues, we produce highly secure parts for our customers. In order that everybody can work safely, we are looking for a new colleague whom will concern the IT security.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a IT Security Specilist at KMWE you are the expert in IT security! You will ensure that no virus can touch us and no criminal can get to us. You are up to speed about new technologies and trends in the market and are able to implement them in an operational setting. Besides this you are able to level with people within our organization and you know how to inform and convince others. 

TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• You keep track on security incidents and act pro-actively at suspicious activities;
• Monitoring global IT infrastructure;
• Maintain and configuration of several safety tools like firewalls and authentication and antivirus software;
• Implementing of security solutions and implementing them within de existing IT infrastructure;
• Signaling improvements;
• Performing risk assessments;
• Advising management about risks and strategies;
• Sharing your knowledge with other IT team members;
• Keeping track on new technologies regarding security and safety.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Higher vocational degree within IT;
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an production company;
• Relevant knowledge of IT security;
• Good command of both Dutch and English, written and verbal;
• Pro active attitude, good communication skills.
