Finisher
Job description
As a Finisher, you will independently tool the products supplied, on the basis of drawings and/or work instructions, using the production equipment and tools provided for that purpose within the Finish department.
Duties and responsibilities
- On the basis of supplied drawings and work order specifications, you will independently perform (repair) operations on materials and/or products supplied. You will do so by using the production equipment, precision instruments and tools provided to you for that purpose within the Finish department;
- You will work in consultation with, and under the responsibility of, the Teamleader. Based on your insight and experience in preparation, control and supervision, you will help determine the input of the problem approach and the sequence of work within the framework of the established design (the work instruction) in which there is a high risk of loss of products and/or damages;
- You will be responsible for devising and working out auxiliary tools to maximise production efficiency, depending on the complexity of the processing and machining method;
- You are flexible in regularly switching between assignments and work activities;
- You will provide feedback to your superior in case of defects or shortcomings in the working environment and the tools;
- You are able to set several things in motion simultaneously (washing, drumming, deburring, etc.) in order to achieve the greatest productivity.
Job requirements
- You have BBL level (at least MBO level 2);
- You can think and work within a high quality system;
- You have good communication and social skills;
- You like working in a team;
- Your motor skills are good and precise;
- You have a high degree of flexibility;
- You have no problem reading and understanding work instructions.
