Test Mechanic Assembly (Cleanroom)
Job description
As a Test Mechanic for Assembly (Cleanroom), you will be responsible for the independent assembly and testing of mostly complex assemblies in the form of machines, systems and/or modules, either in serial production or as single pieces. The work is performed in an ESD environment or in a conditioned environment (cleanroom). The products consist of many different parts and they are composed of precision mechanical components and drive technical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrotechnical components.
Duties and responsibilities
- You are able to independently assemble workpieces from drawings and verbal/written work instructions, and to adjust electronic and mechanical product components. The work is (smaller or) serial, and relatively long-cycle;
- You are able to independently carry out tests on the assembled machines, systems and modules;
- You are able to locate, analyse and rectify errors;
- You will carry out the work in accordance with the applicable health, safety and environmental regulations in an adequate and responsible manner.
Job requirements
- You have an LTS/MTS level in precision mechanics, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering;
- You are skilled in reading drawings and assembling from drawings – both mechanical and electronic;
- You have at least 3 years of assembly experience in the precision engineering industry;
- You have a high degree of independence, accuracy, technical understanding and team spirit.
