In september KMWE announced that Huub van de Water was nominated for the craftsmanship award this year, in the category Metal.

On the 10th November, the best professionals from Brainport Eindhoven were in the spotlight during the 33rd presentation of the Noordhofprijs.
Fantastically organized with over 300 guests.The award ceremony took place at NH Conference Centre Koningshof te Veldhoven.

We are so proud to announce that our colleague Huub van de Water is the winner of the Noordhofprijs 2022 in the category metal! Congratulations Huub!
Who is Huub van de Water?
Huub began his career at KMWE in 1995 as a trainee milling (MTS level 4) and rose through the ranks to become a valuable CAM Engineer Milling.
Huub advises our Manufacturing, Cost and Quality Engineers and supervises our Production Operators and new employees. His extensive knowledge is an example for our new employees, who are trained internally to become Programmers.
Huub is a benchmark within KMWE when it comes to getting the most out of the machine capacity through efficiency.
Loyal, creative, completely independent, team player and always very critical. His technical knowledge and skills are top notch.
What is the Noordhofprijs?
The Noordhof award is awarded annually to the best craftsperson in the Brainport region (Southeast Brabant). The Foundation “Bevordering Vakmanschap” has been awarded the Noordhof award to the best craftsperson in construction, metal industry, mechatronics and other fields of expertise in the technical industry since 1986.
